DIT Celler
At the foothills of the Serra de Llaberia Natural Park, between the towns of Capçanes and Tivissa, lies the vineyard of DIT Celler, sheltered by the mountains yet close to the Mediterranean Sea.
Among forests, olive trees, and almond groves, old Garnacha and Samsó vines, over 70 years old, grow in limestone soils known as pinyolenc, named for the small stones that resemble olive pits. Each afternoon, the marinada, a cool sea breeze, sweeps across the slopes, bringing a unique freshness to the wines. It is a demanding environment, one of natural concentration, producing powerful musts rich in fruit.
DIT Celler, which means "finger" in Catalan, refers to the human imprint behind every decision made by the grower and winemaker. Their careful work in the cellar is key to tempering the intensity of these wines, with aging processes thoughtfully balanced between barrel and bottle. The result is a restrained elegance that honors the character of Garnacha in this region.
